Romeo VS Juliet

Pues me ha dado últimamente por lo de los "VS", aunque lo que se me había ocurrido para hoy es algo diferente a lo que posteaba anteriormente. Todo esto viene porque andaba buscando yo un día no se qué imagen en google, y vi una que me sorprendió, era como si fuese la portada de un disco de The Killers, que yo no conocía, luego, unos días más tarde y cuando conseguí recordar como se llamaba lo que había visto, encontré que era, efectivamente, un disco de rarezas que sacaron a finales del año pasado llamado "Sawdust", y que la verdad me había pillado bastante en bragas, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que es uno de mis grupos de cabecera, y de los que yo considero más interesantes y originales de la hornada de bandas rockeras que han ido apareciendo en este joven siglo que estamos viviendo. Pues cuando lo conseguí, y lo escuché, descubrí el motivo de este post, un cover de la inolvidable e inigualable balada "Romeo and Juliet" de los Dire Straits, banda ochentera de gran estima para mi, y a cuyo ex-líder vi en concierto algún tiempo atrás como se puede ver en anteriores entradas. Realmente y para puristas, entre los que no me gusta encuadrarme, no habrá nada que comparar, pero a mi me llamó la atención, primero, porque como digo, esta gente son de lo más interesante que se puede escuchar en el panorama contemporáneo, y porque es un cover muy digno, y que me permite acercar el original, una gran obra maestra.
